Upbeat, Friendly, Melodious

What do I bring to the VO table? ME. With a love for a wide array of genres—mysteries that challenge the mind, humor that delights, insightful non-fiction, and history that connects us to our past and future. I have a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling. This passion translates into a versatile voice that can captivate, entertain, and engage listeners across various formats.

My voice-over journey is fueled by a genuine enjoyment of reading and a desire to explore new genres. Whether it’s unraveling a thrilling plot, delivering a comedic twist, or diving into thought-provoking narratives, I will bring a fresh and authentic perspective to each role.

With relevant training in acting provided by Elana Elyce, dialects with Dr. David Alan Stern, and audio description by Thomas Reid. Along with attending the Spring APA New Narrator Workshop, the understanding of the VO business CRM by Dani States, Web design with designer Adasia Clark and the man behind the curtain, audio engineer Carl Kondrat, These sessions have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to tackle a wide range of voice-over projects. This foundation gives me the tools to refine my approach to character portrayal, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to diverse voice-over needs as well as understanding the mechanics of the back office. I embrace the opportunity to continue learning and growing within the VO community.

As a member of Work With Your Voice - Black Woman Edition, founded by Casaundra Freeman, I have a place to go to for questions, exploration, skill building, and to play act out loud!
